Anti-Thrombotic Drugs - एंटी-थ्रोम्बोटिक दवाएं

These medicines used to prevent blood clots.

These medicines work by inhibiting formation of clots, preventing clot growing and dissolving formed blood clots.

ये दवाइयाँ रक्त के थक्कों को रोकने के लिए उपयोग की जाती हैं।

ये दवाइयाँ थक्कों के निर्माण को रोकने में, थक्के को बढ़ने से रोकने में और बने हुए रक्त के थक्कों को घोलकर काम करती हैं।

Types :-

1.) Anti-Coagulant Medicines - These medicines inhibit formation of blood clot by interfering with coagulation cascade.

ये दवाइयां जमावट प्रपात में हस्तक्षेप करके रक्त के थक्के के निर्माण को रोकती हैं।

Example :- 

Heparin

Warfarin

Oral Anti-Coagulant Medicines

Apixaban

Rivaroxaban

Dabigatran

Edoxaban

2.) Anti-Platelet Medicines - These medicines prevent blood clots by making platelets less sticky and reducing platelet tendency to clump together.

ये दवाइयां प्लेटलेट्स को कम चिपचिपा बनाकर तथा प्लेटलेट्स के आपस में चिपकने की प्रवृत्ति को कम करके रक्त के थक्के बनने से रोकती हैं।

Prasugrel

3.) Thrombolytics Medicines - These medicines breakdown or dissolve existing blood clots.

ये दवाइयां मौजूदा रक्त के थक्कों को तोड़ती या घोलती हैं।

Alteplase

Reteplase

Tenecteplase
